Annual report on EL 23568 Edith River Project

Abstract

This annual report details the work completed in the 2007/2008 reporting period by Orion Exploration Pty Ltd (Orion) - a wholly owned subsidiary of Retail Star Limited (RSL) - on the Edith River Project (EL23568) in the Northern Territory. RSL took responsibility for Orion and the licence area in August 2007. The company has a new management team which has been undertaking a review of all its assets, in conjunction with a revision of the exploration and targeting strategies for its licence areas. During the reporting period exploration activities were limited to a reconnaissance visit to the tenement and a desk top review of previous exploration. The brief field visit was completed as part of a due diligence exercise soon after the acquisition of the project by Retail Star Limited and served as an introduction to the regional geology and access conditions. The exploration review was completed as part of a broader study to identify and prioritise the exploration targets across all of RSL's NT tenements to determine the most appropriate allocations of RSL's exploration budget. The work comprised a review of all previous data that was available from both public and private sources and was ongoing at the time of reporting.
