Annual technical report on EL 22913 Gidyea, 21 August 2006 to 20 August 2007

Abstract

EL 22913 was granted to Imperial Granite and Minerals Pty Ltd on the 21 August 2002. It was cleared of Native Title considerations by the Central Land Council on the 24 May 2003 and transferred to Tennant Creek Gold (NT) Pty Ltd on 13 January 2004. Later in 2005 the tenement was transferred to Sunsphere Pty Ltd, a wholly owned subsidairy of Thor Mining PLC. During 2007 Sunsphere Pty Ltd changed name to Molyhil Mining Pty Ltd and the tenement was later transferred to Hatches Creek Pty Ltd. This report details work completed EL 22913 for year 5 ended the 20 August 2007 and includes a proposal for year 6 work. Preliminary evaluation work was conducted over EL 22913 during 2006-2007. This work included extensive data review and compilation of open file reports. It was also brought to the attention of Molyhil Mining Pty Ltd and Hatches Creek Pty Ltd by the CLC that there were issues regarding access to Aboriginal Land covering most of the tenement even though the tenement has been granted since 2002. This resulted in a suspension of exploration activities until advice was sought from the Native Titles Division of the DPIFM.
