Annual report on EL 23462, for the period 25 July 2006 to 24 July 2007, Kukalak Project

Abstract

Kukalak is a uranium exploration project area in northwest Arnhem Land, covering exploration licence EL 23462, which is managed and operated by Cameco Australia Pty Ltd (Cameco). This report describes exploration activities carried out in the 2006-2007 reporting period, which comprised mainly a tenement-wide outcrop sampling program, follow-up sampling and mapping of anomalies identified by the detailed 50m-spaced airborne magnetic-radiometric-DTM survey that was flown in 2005, and integrated assessment of existing and newly acquired data sets (geochemistry, radiometrics, magnetics, hyperspectral, TEMPEST) to define new anomalies and drill targets.
