Combined final report for EL 8741 'Apertawonga South', EL 8817 'Pedestal Hills' and EL 9269 'MacFarlanes Peak', from 23 March 2001 to 22 March 2007

Abstract

Exploration Licences 8741, 8817 and 9269 are situated approximately 600 kilometres northwest of Alice Springs and were explored as part of the Southern Tanami project. All three tenements were granted to AngloGold Australia Limited (Anglogold) on 23 March 2001 and were purchased by Tanami Exploration NL (TENL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Tanami Gold NL (TGNL), a publicly listed company in June 2005. In March 2007 EL's 8741, 8817 and 9269 were allowed to expire. This report details exploration completed within the surrendered tenement areas from 23 March 2001 to 22 March 2007. All field exploration on all three Exploration Licences was carried out by Anglogold. Best result from the lag sampling was 11 ppb Au. After a data review and brief reconnaissance TENL decided to relinquish the tenements.
