Davenport Region - Annual report year 3 - 31/05/2006 to 30/05/2007

Abstract

No on-ground exploration activity was conducted within EL 9710 and EL 9745 during the past year. On-ground exploration in ELs 9710 and 9745 was originally scheduled to commence in April-May 2006. However as previously notified, exploration programs in ELs 9710 and 9745 were postponed due to the late arrival of the drill rig at Kurinelli. This had significant follow on affects and other commitments prevented us from doing any further work in the Davenports Ranges in 2006. Arafura decided that it would assess the results of its 3,597 metres exploration RC drilling program at Kurinelli in AC 74 before undertaking any new greenfields exploration in the Davenport Ranges region. Exploration activities for EL 9710 and EL 9745 were rescheduled for early 2007.
