Annual and final report on EL 24575 covering the period 7 December 2005 to 6 December 2006

Abstract

The Francis Maude tenement is located 40 km north of the Pine Creek township in the Northern Territory. The tenement covers 2 blocks and 6.15km(2) and is one of three tenements included in the Francis Maude project. This report details exploration activities undertaken by Aldershot Resources Ltd during the tenement's first year of term, 7 December 2005 to 6 December 2006. Activities completed during the reporting period comprised desktop geological studies, and historical report compilation and review. There are no known uranium occurrences in the area of the tenement package but several gold prospects. Large primary structures appear to be lacking. Uranium source rocks appear to be minimal in the area. Fragmented tenure with limited areal extent are constraining factors to exploration success. The title was considered for farm-out but has been surrendered.
