On 1 August 2003 EL 23726 was granted to Conarco Minerals Pty Ltd who carried out geochemical sampling as part of an exploration programme for base metal deposits in Cambrian sediments of the Georgina Basin. In 2004, the EL was joint ventured to AKD Limited who have title over the nearby Wonarah Phosphate Deposit. For renewal in the fourth year from 1 August 2006, a statutory relinquishment was required and accordingly the area was reduced to 149 sub-blocks (460km2 approx). A review of the field and office generated data showed that there are no data to report within the relinquished portion.en_US
