| dc.description.abstract | The aim of exploration in 1973 was to obtain better knowledge of the geology, particularly of the Langra Formation and to assess the potential for uranium. To pursue these aims, the following exploration was undertaken; 1) Photogeological study of the area. 2) An airborne survey, carried out by McPhar Geophysics Pty. Ltd., comprising a radiometric survey and a magnetic survey. 3) Analysis of the airborne survey and consequent field verification of airborne anomalies. 4) General geological reconnaissance and establishment of a more precise stratigraphy of the Langra Formation. | en_US |
