Abstract

The higher priority diamond-target anomalies within the relinquished area are considered to have been fully tested. Although some interesting results were initially received, the lack of positive results in follow-up work has downgraded the perceived exploration potential of this area in comparison to other parts of the Altjawarra project area. Results from the manganese exploration indicated that the volume of ore material was unlikely to be economic and no further exploration for manganese is warranted. No further work is proposed by Elkedra Diamonds NL and the entire remaining tenement is relinquished.
