Combined annual report for EL 22642, EL 22643, EL 22644, EL 22749, EL 22750 and EL 22751 'Antrim Project' for the year ending 31 December 2005

Abstract

The Antrim Project Area is considered prospective for Noril'sk-style Ni-Cu-PGE sulphide deposits. Exploration in the 2005 year included detailed modeling of the 2004 in-loop transient electromagnetic surveying including a Grendl Inversion of Line A32E, and completion of a regional gravity survey over the Neave fault which extended the Geoscience Australia coverage of the Birrindudu 1:250,000 map-sheet. Modelling of the gravity data outlined several targets beneath the Antrim Plateau Volcanics which may reflect mafic rocks intruding the sediments beneath the basalts. A review of the project will be completed in early 2006 before any further work is planned.
