Final report for EL 8283, EL 8284 and EL 9249, 13 October 2004 to 7 July 2005

Abstract

This is the FINAL Report for Exploration Licenses (EL) 8283, 8284 & 9249 which were granted to the Central Desert Joint Venture partners (Otter Gold NL {now Newmont} 60% and Acacia Resources Ltd {now Anglogold Ashanti Australia} 40%) on October 13th 1997 as part of the Frankenia Agreement (EL 8283, 8284, 8931 & 9249). The exploration license was subject to a Deed (Frankenia) between the CDJV and the Traditional Owners executed 01/08/97. Activities during the tenure of the licence focussed on regional surface sampling and remote detection of targets within the licence. During the final year an assessment of the Exploration Licenses was undertaken and the decision was made to surrender (EL)s 8283, 8284 & 9249 on the 7th July 2005.
