Final report for EL 8980 and EL 9476, 17 February 2005 to 22 July 2005

Abstract

This report covers the final period for ELs 8980 and 9476. These Licences are part of the Peccadillo Deed (15/12/97) which encompasses Exploration Licenses 8576, 8727, 8932, 8980 and 9476. These were granted on 17th February 1998 for a period of six years. The total area of the Licences to be surrendered covers 48 km2. The combined area of the Peccadillo Licences covers 238km2 and is wholly owned by Otter Gold Pty Ltd (100%) which is currently operated by Newmont Exploration. ELs 8980 and 476 are located some 50 km west of the Tanami Mine. This is the eighth and final year of tenure. During the eighth and final year of tenure work concentrated on data review and interpretation to assess whether these licences were suitable for the surrender.
