Final report for EL 7799, 13 October 1997 to 7 July 2005

Abstract

This is the FINAL Report for Exploration License (EL) 7799 which was granted to the Central Desert Joint Venture partners (Otter Gold NL 60% and Acacia Resources Ltd {now Anglogold Ashanti Australia} 40%) on October 13th 1997 as part of the Coomarie Agreement (EL 7799, 7803, 7837 & 8479). The exploration license was subject to a Deed (Coomarie) between the CDJV and the Traditional Owners executed 01/08/97. Activities during the tenure of the licence focussed on regional surface sampling and remote detection of targets within the licence. Assessments of the Exploration License were made and the decision was made to surrender EL 7799 on the 7th July 2005. During the life of the lease, Otter took 1029 surface samples.
