Abstract

A detailed aeromagnetic survey was flown over the project area, defining 53 targets. 6 of these anomalies were found to be associated with cultural features. 5 could not be conclusively relocated. Modelling suggested that the majority of the anomalies were near surface. Limited depth extent bodies. 39 anomalies were loam sampled. 2 low interest chromites were recovered. 5 anomalies were subsequently drill tested. Results negative.The Beetaloo airborne survey covered 10900 square kilometres. Flight line spacing 300m, tie lines 5000m, terrain clearance 60m.
