dc.description.abstract44 gravel samples were processed returning 169 chromites from 14 samples. The distribution suggested two different provenances. The majority of the chromites were of a non-kimberlitic source. 2 samples were deemed to be of possible kimberlitic origin. Results of the follow up are awaited. 62 -80# samples were analysed from the northern portion of the EL. No significant base metal assays were completed. 20 rock chip samples collected from the Carolina Sandstone Member failed to return any significant base or precious metal values.en_US
