dc.description.abstractMapping confirmed the results of the aeromagnetic interpretation of a prominent north trending anticline through the centre of the licences which was subsequently affected by NW trending shears. 64 rock chip and 12 soil samples were collected in or adjacent to shear zones during mapping with a maximum assay of 9.5ppm Au from a thin zone of limonitic veining. Follow up failed to reproduce this result.en_US
dc.description.abstractAir core drilling was completed in the southern portion of the licence to test the 'C' soil horizon. 875 samples were taken. Analysis revealed a NW trending zone between 5-20ppb Au associated with the sheared western limit of the central anticline feature over approximately 4km strike (maximum assay 450ppb Au). 21 line km of ground magnetics was completed. Moderate anomalism was associated with zones of anomalous geochemistry.en_US
