dc.description.abstract63 soil samples and 18 rock chip samples were collected The soil geochemical survey outlined 3 areas of low level anomalous gold geochemistry. Two of theses areas were located on a creek system which drains the mullock dumps of the Cosmo Howley mine. The remaining anomaly is a spot high on a flat area. The best assay from rock chip samples was 0.1ppm Au, though most samples were below the limit of detection. The potential for economic mineralisation is considered to be low.en_US
