Two areas of ferruginised Cainozoic gravel were outlined. 15 pits were excavated to bulk test the southern deposits potential to host alluvial diamonds. This work showed that these gravels harbour diamonds. In addition ground magnetic surveys were completed over a number of airborne magnetic anomalies to assist in siting the drilling. No anomalous rare earth values were obtained.en_US
