dc.description.abstract21 stream and 35 rock chip samples were collected in the initial phase of exploration. This outlined an area of anomalism in the central eastern portion of the licence which was referred to as the Andromeda Prospect. Follow up consisted of 11.5 line km of gridding and the collection of 338 soil samples. Based on the 2ppb Au contour a 1600x1000m anomaly was outlined (max 1941ppb Au), though values were spotty. This area was than further tested by 10 trenches totalling 678m. No anomalous values were obtained from the Proterozoic exposed in these trenches beneath Tertiary conglomerate. The anomalism appears associated with the conglomerate.en_US
