dc.description.abstractLicence area had been previously explored for diamonds by CRAE, Ashton and Stockdale. 22 bulk stream sediment samples were collected in the current exploration programme. Bulk of the concentrate was limonite with traces of monazite and xenotime in the fines. The distribution of barites is anomalous. No diamonds, microdiamonds or kimberlitic indicator minerals were obtained from the samples.en_US
