dc.description.abstract9 geochemical anomalies were identified by the BLEG soil survey during the first year of the licence. These anomalies were upon evaluation as being nominal or due to contamination form the Warrego Road or from workings on adjacent mineral claims. 3 rock chip samples were collected during the reconnaissance programme in 1989 and 4 samples were collected during the 1990 geological mapping-all results were at background level. Analysis of the 1984 Austirex aeromagnetic data identified a number of subtle magnetic lineaments and 3 subtle magnetic anomalies P21, P22, and P28. P22 and P28 were evaluated by a ground magnetic survey. It was determine d that P22 warranted no further work. P28 was tested by drilling and no anomalous assay results were obtained. The anomaly was attributed to the magnetic rich sediments encountered.en_US
