Shallow percussion drilling was completed over eight aeromagnetic anomalies and bedrock geochemical samples analysed for copper and bismuth. Anomalous copper values were obtained from five of the aeromagnetic anomalies. The anomalies may be caused by ironstone associated copper mineralisation or by basic horizons within the basal Ashburton Sandstone.en_US
