Abstract: | The literature review indicated that PNC-WMC had completed a comprehensive lag sampling programme. This initially down graded the prospectivity of the area. Subsequent evaluation of the area indicated laterite development was poor and called into question the effectiveness of this lag sampling programme. A photo interpretation outlined a structurally complex zone coincident with a magnetic high. Over the John Wayne Prospect, 327 soil samples and 6.3 line kms of ground magnetics were completed. A maximum assay of 1.71ppb Au was returned. 15 rock chip samples were collected over the licence. No significant values were returned. |
