dc.description.abstract3 areas of geochemical anomalism were followed up via soil and rock chip sampling. Results were generally at or near background except for zinc. Elevated zinc values were associated with elevated Fe and Mn suggesting scavenging. 4 BLEG stream sediment samples proved negative. A 61 sample heavy mineral drainage sampling programme was completed. 2 areas of elevated chromite defined. These areas are associated with Antrim Plateau Volcanics and are of low interest.
