Abstract: | A total of 187 samples comprising 78 log, 89 micropisolite, 16 iron stone log, 4 rock outcrop and float samples were collected. The samples were collected across strike of prominent magnetic highs and lows or linears. The majority of assays for gold were below the limit of detection, though one sample of micropisolite from line 2 returned a maximum assay of 34 ppb Au. Various samples returned anomalous base metal values, particularly in the vicinity of the intersect of lines 1 and 6 (v 537700ME, 7751200MN) where strong Cu, Pb, Zn, As + Cr anomalism is exhibited. Anomalous Ba values (max 0.54%) were returned from the southern end of lines 2, 3 and 4 (7750 000MN, 532000ME to 7750000M 535000ME). |
