dc.description.abstract | 615 samples, comprising 326 log, 246 micropisolite, 14 ironstone lag and 29 rock outcrop-float samples, were collected across strike of the magnetic trends. Results of sampling indicate that the western portion of the licence is the more prospective area. Traverses 4-11 feature high Ce (max 0.58%) associated with La and Sm, with anomalous values concentrated on lines 6, 7 and 8. The source of these anomalous values is not known, though they may result from pegmatite silts in the area. The majority of gold values were below the limit of detection. The two assays above the limit of detection (7ppb and 13ppb Au) are not considered indicative of a source of economic mineralisation, as they lack strong supporting geochemistry and the geology is unfavourable. Anomalous Cu, Pb, Zn, + Be, occur in the western area on the flank or nose of elongate magnetic highs. | en_US |
