dc.description.abstractThe report broadly discusses the structural controls on the formation of ironstones in the Tennant Creek area. Ironstones appear to be located at or near the hinge of second order anticlines where there is a marked difference in the mechanical properties of the lithological units. Interpretation of available aeromagnetic data suggested the possibility that the licence may host Cu-Au desposits associated with magnetic units. Work nearby downgraded the prospectivity of the area.en_US
