The report broadly discusses the structural controls on the formation of ironstones in the Tennant Creek area. Ironstones appear to be located at or near the hinge of second order anticlines where there is a marked difference in the mechanical properties of the lithological units. Evaluation of the 1984 Austrex aeromagnetic data showed that the licence had potential for magnetic stratigraphy, however, results from adjoining tenements indicate that the chance for an economic deposit was slight.en_US
