dc.description.abstractThe report broadly discusses the structural controls on the formation of ironstones in the Tennant Creek area. Ironstones appear to be located at or near the hinge of second order anticlines where there is a marked difference in the mechanical properties of the lithological units. Though the results from the interpretation of 1984 Austrex aeromagnetics were promising results from adjoining licences indicated that the prospect of the EL hosting economic Cu-Au deposits was slight.en_US
