| Abstract: | Report outlines data and interpretations from the 1983 programme, which explored for HYC style Zn-Pb-Ag-Cu mineralisation. Drilling was sited to test 4 anomalies generated from the Sirotem programme, which was interpreted along with limited EM and gravity survey data. Results from drilling were disappointing, in terms of lithology and base metal geochemistry values. Stratigraphic interpretation of the sequence intersected as lower Nathan Subgroup and lower Batten subgroup of the McArthur Gp, but data are tenuous and correlations are far from soundly based. The area was relinquished. |
