Third annual report for EL 8610 (Atlee Greek) for the period 20 April 2000 to 19 April 2001

Abstract

Work completed included lag, rock chip and surface sampling, ground magnetics and regolith aircore drilling. Lag sampling and rock chip sampling and soil sampling programs didn't return any significant results. Forty six line km of ground magnetic survey were completed to help in drill targets generation. Aircore drilling program was undertaken to and intersected transported cover varying in thickness from 0 to > 90m. Results were generally not considered significant, the better results include 12m 1.2 ppb Au, 218 ppm Zn in alluvial cover, 1.6 ppb Au, 6.4 ppm Ag, 3 ppm Cd in metasediment and 0.9 ppb Au, 62 ppm Cd, 1200 ppm Co and 290 ppm Cu in dolerite.
