Northern Territory Evaporites annual report to 18 June 2001

Abstract

The report summarises work undertaken during the last reporting period including discussion on proposal for development of Industrial Minerals from the resource brine. Further exploration was carried out at Curtin springs collecting brine water crystals and soil samples. No further project work had begun on the brine resource and the proposed expenditure was not founded to proceed. Currently all activities in the region ceased because of the heavy rain and flooding in the area.
