Annual mineral exploration report on EL 8514 Abbott's Bore, for year ending 9 January 2000

Abstract

This report summarises exploration activities on the area. An aeromagnetic/radiometric survey was conducted over the eastern portion of the tenement. A reconnaissance mapping with pegging sampling traverses was carried out. 186 soil samples and 28 Lag samples were collected. Soil sampling defined several discrete zones of gold anomalism across the central tenement area coincident with elevated arsenic values. Generally low gold values were returned from Lag sampling with the peak results 2 ppb Au and 25 ppm As.
