dc.description.abstractExploration Licence 1603 is situated in the Waggaman Goldfield, NT about 130 km southeast of Darwin. The licence was applied for as part of a broad program of exploration for tin, tungsten, base metals, gold and uranium in the Pine Creek Geosyncline. The report gives details of exploration work by Nord Resources on the licence during the period 10 August, 1977 to 10 August, 1978. Investigations included aerial photograph studies, geological and radiornetric ground reconnaissance, mapping, stream sediment sampling, and sampling of gossans and auriferous reefs.en_US
