Since 1998 EL 5418 comprised of two areas refered to as EL 5418N (Four Corners) and EL 5418S (Windy Hill). The later is under application for becoming ERL 153. This report documents in detail all work completed on EL 5418S during the 10 years of its tenure. Work conducted in 1996, exclusively in EL 5418S, had been successful in identifying an indicated resource at Minotaur and advancing two geochemical anomalies to mineralised prospect status with indications of significant potential. During the tenth year of tenure, work initially involved a RAB drilling programme which extended the known strike length of the Taurus Formation north of Minotaur. Good results were returned from around the Taurus Formation to a peak of 1.41ppm Au and 277ppm As. Time Domain Electromagnetic surveys were also completed in mid 1998. This was followed by RC and diamond drilling at Minotaur. The RC drilling has revealed that the mineralisation within the Taurus Formation and the Hangingwall continues along strike to the northeast from minotaur. The mineralised laterite horizon also appears to be quite continuous along strike. The best results from diamond drilling were 4m @ 2.06 g/t Au from 147.5m within the Taurus Formation. The rest of the assay results from this hole were disappointing but the hole was successful in defining the geological boundaries at depth in this area. This year's work has indicated potential for a modest resource increase.en_US
