| Abstract: | EL 2433 is being explored for uranium. The 1980 Union Oil field program was designed to evaluate all pre-existing exploration including ground follow-up of of airborne radiometric and EM anomalies. Three priority one INPUT anomalies were tested by shallow drilling. One was believed due to cultural features, one due to saline groundwater, but the third remains unexplained. Aerial photography was acquired and geological mapping undertaken. Other exploration techniques used include costeaning and trenching and radon and groundwater surveys. Some anomlies were detected. |
