1950 Baldiseri Copper Prospect ML157H, Alice Springs, NT

Abstract

Our brief inspection indicated that the copper mineralisation is too weak to encourage further investigation. The prospect would be of interest only if worthwhile copper mineralisation were present in the same field. No such deposits are known. The Baldiseri Pinnacle copper prospect, 22 miles north east, was examined by the writer in February, 1948 and the mineralisation was also found to be patchy and low in grade, although it occurs in a different geological environment.
