Abstract

In the first phase of drilling 261 RAB holes (1518m) were completed in order to test for extensions to the Sabre (Lander 1) Prospect. This program returned values to 229 ppb Au from an area referred to as Assagai. A second phase of drilling comprising 108 RAB holes (2097m) was undertaken. This second phase returned values to 310 ppb Au. RC-Diamond drilling was completed at Sabre and Assagai. The follow up drilling at Assagai failed to intersect alteration or anomalous gold values. The drilling at Sabre met with more success intersecting significant alteration and values to 6.1m at 2.14g-t Au. 5 areas were tested by a 602 hole vacuum drill program. These areas were Scimitar, Sabre, Assegai, Misericorde and Camp. At Scimitar significant alteration and gossanous-brecciated quartz veining were intersected. The drilling at Sabre defined a possible NNW extension to the prospect. Similarly results from Assegai were encouraging.
