| Abstract: | The title was applied for to follow-up radiometric anomalies in a BMR survey. Similar anomalies in WA were known to be associated with uranium mineralisation in the Killi Killi beds and Gardiner Sandstone. During May 1978, an aerial spectrometer survey was carried out over specific target areas. All anomalies (total count and/or uranium channel >1.5 times background) detected were checked on the ground. No data was supplied to the Department. There was only a slight increase in the total count channel over laterite in the vicinity of the BMR anomaly and Otter Exploration recommended that no further work be undertaken. |
