Ns 241 and 242 were 39 km east of Pine Creek. The Burrell Creek Formation is the host to gold in the area. Old Chinese elluvial diggings are present in the MCNs. The leases have been held by various parties including Wandie Goldmines, Ranford Goldmines, KC and SA Padgett, Dominion Gold, Territory Goldfields and Northern Gold. The latter undertook minor exploration in the mid to late 1990s. The only recorded production is alluvial mining by Wandi who processed 117,665.85 cubic yards for a recovery of 0.378 grams per cubic yard from these and adjacent claims.en_US
