Exploration concentrated in the north of the lease with the view to finding nuggety alluvial/eluvial gold. Minelab GP3000 and SD2200 metal detectors were used along vehicle and foot traverses. Areas of outcropping quartz, quartz scree and nearby drainage systems were systematically and intensively sampled. No coarse gold was detected. An area of marble in the northeast of the EL was investigated as potential landscaping material. However it was found to be too small and too remote to be economic.en_US
