Partial Relinquishment Report EL 9978 Wonarah for the Period ending 29th August 2004

Abstract

The report summarises exploration activities on the relinquished part of the EL 9978. It forms part of a project area held by AKD limited, being explored for large tonnage phosphate deposits in association with Rio Tinto, who withdrew from the joint venture in December 2002. Interpretation of the available data on open file suggest deep low grade grade phosphorite mineralisation with excessive overburden. As a result, economic phosphate resources in the relinquished part of the tenement has been ruled out.
