Title: | Combined annual report on exploration activities for EL 10190, EL 10429 and EL 22754 year two of tenure 23 July 2003 to 22 July 2004 |
Title Holder / Company: | Ashton Mining Ashton Exploration Australia |
Report id: | CR2004-0415 |
Tenure: | EL10190; EL10429; EL22754 |
Year: | 2004 |
Abstract: | During the past year of tenure, a review of historic exploration data, including considerable surface sampling focussed on diamonds, was conducted by Gravity and numerous anomalous results were noted in and around the three EL's. Owing to the timing of the exploration agreement between DMA and Rio Tinto (late July 2003) field exploration under the agreement did not extend to these EL's during the 2003 field season. A large Falcon survey was flown in the Lancewood area to the west of the EL's as part of the Rio Tinto - DMA agreement in late 2003, but excluded the EL reported on here. Field work on EL's 10190, 10429 and 22754 is planned to commence during the 2004 field season. |
