EL 23688 Kekwick Project Annual Report 17 June 2003 to 16 June 2004

Abstract

The Kekwick project (EL23688) is south- west of Lake Woods. It lies on Powell Creek Station owned by Consolidated Press Holdings Limited. No previous exploration is recorded from the area. During this initial period of the Licence, the aims of exploration have been: the identification of likely target commodities, determination of local exploration constraints, establishment of broad exploration models, and development of plans for cost effective future exploration. During the initial phase of exploration of EL23688, work consisted of: Literature research of previous exploration, geological survey and geophysical survey over the EL and surrounding district; Data compilation; Acquisition and interpretation of departmental geological and airborne geophysical data sets; Planning for field program; Planning, budgeting, and reporting. Visits to other stakeholders in the area for introduction purposes were completed, and the Sacred Sites register was searched.
