Abstract: Exploration for unconformity style uranium deposits in the first year of tenure consisted of: data compilation and review; airborne geophysical surveys (radiometric, magnetic, DTM for 1861 line km and TEMPEST for 688 line km); geological reconnaissance mapping; sandstone sampling to study clay mineralogy and geochemistry. The Arrarra uranium prospect and other known uranium anomalies were re-located and investigated as part of an orientation program consisting of rock chip geochemistry, confirmation of geological mapping, and petrographic sampling.
