Final report for MCC 10 and MCC 11, 21st September 1983 to 31st December 2003

Abstract

This report records the exploration work carried out on the Mineral Claims C10-C11 Jubilee, during their 20- year term from the 21st September 1983 to the 31st December 2003. In producing this report Giants Reef Mining Pty Ltd (Giants Reef) has endeavoured to find as much information as possible to record all the work done on the Mineral Claims over the 20-year period. However, the changes in ownership over that time means that there may be some unintentional omissions. Prior to the purchase of Mineral Claims C10-C11 by Giants Reef in 1994, the Claims were held by local prospectors. No documentation can be located by Giants Reef detailing the exploration (if any) undertaken by the prospectors during the first 11-years. Since the acquisition of the Claims, Giants Reef conducted reconnaissance trips to the Claim area, rock chip sampling, data integration, geological review and assessment. Nine rock chip samples were collected from within the MC C10 with no anomalous mineralisation. No diggings were identified within the Claims. As part of the Companies rationalisation program the Claims were thoroughly assessed, and recommended for surrender to allow exploration over MC C10-C11 to be conducted under Giants Reefs granted Exploration Licence 22868 North Jubilee. Mineral Claims C10-C11 were not renewed by Giants Reef Mining at the end of their third term, and were allowed to expire on the 31st December 2003.
