Final report for MCC 1324, MCC 1325 and MCC 1326 'Great Western', 23rd June 1995 to 18th December 2003

Abstract

This report records the exploration work carried out on Mineral Claims C1324-C1326 Great Western, during their 9-year term from the 23rd June 1995 to the 18th December 2003. Mineral Claims C1324-C1326 are located approximately 35km north west of the Tennant Creek township and 22km east of Warrego. MC C1324-C1326 have previously been explored and reported as part of the Grand Central Joint Venture Group. Mineral Claims C1324-C1326 were granted to Giants Reef in 1995. No documentation outlines the reason for the application of the Claims, or the proposed exploration strategies. Under the Grand Central Joint Venture, with NTC acting as managers, a regional helimagnetics survey was flown over the Claim area. No geophysical modelling of the data over the Claims area was conducted. No further work has been conducted over the Claims. No targets areas have been identified within the Claims, and given the underlying geology, Giants Reef view the Claims as unprospective for shallow Tennant Creek style ironstone-related gold-copper deposits.
