Title: Partial relinquishment report, EL 22168 'Wonarah', for the period ending 3 August 2003
Title Holder / Company: AKD
Report id: CR2003-0389
Tenure: EL22168
Year: 2003
Author: Sas, ZA
Abstract: Drilling on the relinquished portions of EL 22168 intersected deep phosphorite but failed to intersect phosphorite mineralisation of any significance. The excessive overburden and poor grade rules out any potential for economic phosphate resources in these areas. The best results for each drill hole were: WON 3: 1m @ 6.06% P2O5 from 71m ; WON 75: 1m @ 10.1% P2O5 from 77m; WON 84: 1m @ 13.3% P2O5 from 5m; WON 85: 1m @ 13.0% from 42m. The areas are too low grade and/or deep to be considered economic.
