Second annual report, 29 August 2002 to 28 August 2003, EL 8882 Greenbush

Abstract

EL 8882 covers part of the Bluebush project area and was explored for base metal mineralisation in association with BHP Billiton. Bluebush gravity anomaly centred the eastern part of the area. Exploration program covered interpretation of magnetic data and in conjunction with the newly acquired gravity data drilling targets were identified. 21 RC holes were drilled. Petrographic studies of drillhole samples revealed the presence of mafic and volcanic rocks. This program identified wide area over shallow depth (9m - 15m) with drinkable water However, no substantial mineralisation was found. As a result, BHP Billiton withdrew from the alliance.
