dc.description.abstractThe work program identified a prospective horizon within the North Wigley area characterised by cherty quartz-magnetite-garnet units. Rock chip and soil sampling of the prospective horizon returned moderately elevated values of Cu and Zn. With the exception of known base metal occurrences, the rock chip sampling did not provide any significant base metal anomalism that warranted immediate follow-up work. The potential for epigenetic gold mineralisation associated with Alice Springs Orogeny retrogressive shear zones remains untested.en_US
